The “12-month Pregnancy Guarantee” means that if you use kegg consistently for at least 1 year to optimally time your trying to conceive efforts and you do not conceive during that time, you can receive your money back.

Unfortunately, no device can guarantee pregnancy. However, we can assure you that if you meet and follow the criteria outlined below and use kegg to time your trying to conceive efforts during your fertile valleys and do not conceive, you can use your full refund to help you on your trying to conceive journey by another means.

 

To be eligible to receive a full refund, the user must meet the kegg user criteria, follow the recommended use guidelines, and adhere to the 12 month Pregnancy Guarantee rules as outlined below. 

kegg’s user criteria: 

  • Are within reproductive age (We define reproductive age as anyone 21 or older who continues to cycle and ovulate). 
  • Have been off hormonal birth control for at least 3 months and have had at least 2 menstrual cycles since discontinuing hormonal birth control.
  • Are at least 6 weeks postpartum and have had at least 2 menstrual cycles beyond 6 weeks postpartum. 
  • Are not currently producing breast milk and have had at least 2 menstrual cycles since the full completion of milk production.
  • Have menstrual cycles (period bleeds)*
  • Are 21 years of age or greater.

 

*At kegg, many of our team members have PCOS and experience irregular cycles. By tracking our cycles with kegg and timing intercourse during the valleys, our team members with PCOS successfully conceived their babies. We firmly believe that women with irregular cycles and/or PCOS should qualify for our pregnancy guarantee. Of note, in order to gain valuable insights with kegg, the user must ovulate and have periods. If you identify that you are not cycling or ovulating, we recommend speaking with your medical provider. If cycle length averages are greater than 40 days, the user will not see a fertile window prediction, and should watch their readings to time their efforts during the fertile valleys. 

Recommended use:

  • Take a reading with kegg once every day throughout the cycle (except during your period). 
  • Use kegg within the same 2 hour timeframe each day for accurate results. If you miss your reading time frame it is advised to skip the reading for that day.
  • Take only one reading per day on nonbleeding days. Multiple readings in one day are not recommended as the results may not be accurate. kegg will only record the final reading of the day.
  • Do not use kegg within 8 hours after intercourse 
  • Do not use kegg while using an intravaginal medication, supplements, or treatments.
  • Time your trying to conceive efforts during your fertile windows. The user should watch their readings to identify their fertile valleys, during which time they should aim to have sex or inseminate.

  • You have not conceived (received a positive pregnancy test) since you began using kegg.
  • You have been using kegg as recommended (outlined in the terms of service and manual) for at least 10 full cycles in a row and for at least 12 full months. 
  • You have timed your trying-to-conceive efforts during your fertile valleys, notated in the kegg chart 
  • You allow the kegg Customer Success team to review your kegg data at the time you request a refund to determine if you meet the qualifications for a refund.

Q & A:

  • I have irregular cycles. Will the pregnancy guarantee apply for me?
    • Yes. Women with irregular cycles and/or PCOS are still eligible for the Pregnancy Guarantee as long as they meet the kegg user criteria outlined above. If cycles are irregular, users should watch the daily readings to identify their fertile valleys and time their trying to conceive efforts during this time(s).

 

  • I need to stop using kegg for a period of time due to surgery or other obligations. Will I be eligible for the Pregnancy Guarantee?
    • Yes. Your 12 month pregnancy guarantee will be extended. In order to qualify for the refund, kegg must be used for at least 10 consecutive cycles without a period of time off from kegg use. Please reach out to customer support should you have any questions about your kegg use and your given circumstance.

 

  • I am not sure if I ovulate. How can I know?
    • While having regular cycles is a good indicator that you are likely ovulating, if you suspect you may not be ovulating, one can determine if a cycle is ovulatory by testing progesterone during the luteal phase (the time between ovulation and the start of the new cycle) by completing a blood test to measure progesterone, or by testing the urine metabolite for progesterone called PdG. Other ways to confirm ovulation include tracking your basal body temperature or an ultrasound during the luteal phase.
